On exposure to fire Thermoguard Fire Varnish expands to create a fire protective barrier to insulate timber surfaces from heat and oxygen.
Thermoguard Fire Varnish Intumescent Basecoat must be used in conjuction with Thermoguard Fire Varnish Overcoat (Gloss, Satin and Matt).
Rated to BS476 Part 7: Class 1 surface spread of flame and BS476 Part 6: Fire propagation.Thermoguard Fire Varnish Intumescent is designated Class ‘O’ Spread of Flame in accordance with UK Building Regulations.
Provides fire protection for prepared timber and timber derivative surfaces.
Thermoguard Fire Varnish Intumescent is applied by paint brush, roller or spray.Available in 20 m2 containers.
