Description
Tested to BS476 Part 21 to give up to 90 minutes fire resistance. This is achieved as heat in a fire triggers a catalytic reaction causing expansion of an insulating layer up to 50 times the paint film thickness. This keeps the metal below its critical temperature thus maintaining the structural stability of the building.
Provides fire resistance of 30 minutes and one hour with a single application.
Fire resistance of 90 minutes can be achieved with two coats of Thermocoat Intumescent Paint.

Applied by paint brush, roller or airless spray.
Gloss and Eggshell available in BS4800, RAL and metallic colours and a non decorative finish is available for unexposed areas.
Use 1 litre per square metre (with 2 coats) to provide 1 hour fire protection.
Available in 5 Kilo and 20 kilo containers.
A separate flame retardant topcoat is also available.
